Practical safeguards for career data and hosted sites.

This page explains the security posture for Vauntless Career Studio as a managed platform using reputable providers for hosting, payments, authentication, verification, email, storage, and AI-assisted drafting.

01

Security approach

Vauntless Career Studio handles career materials, resumes, contact information, subscription records, mentor applications, and other information that clients expect to be treated carefully.

The platform is designed around reputable managed providers, limited access, encrypted connections, role-appropriate data handling, and practical security controls that can mature as the business grows.

02

Hosting and infrastructure

Vauntless Career Studio is planned to run on Vercel with managed database, file storage, email, authentication, payment, AI, and verification providers. These providers maintain their own infrastructure security programs.

Client sites may be served through Vauntless subdomains or approved custom domains with HTTPS/SSL support where available.

03

Authentication and access

Administrative and client-facing access should use secure authentication providers such as Clerk, Google OAuth, or similar tools when account access is enabled.

Administrative access should be limited to authorized personnel and used only for legitimate operational needs such as intake review, publishing, support, billing, security, or compliance.

04

Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Vauntless Career Studio does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.

Payment providers may use fraud detection, transaction monitoring, device signals, and other safeguards according to their own terms and privacy practices.

05

Uploads and client materials

Users may submit resumes, headshots, written background, work history, and other career materials through intake or application forms. These materials may be stored with managed database and file-storage providers.

Users should avoid submitting classified information, sensitive personal records, confidential employer data, trade secrets, non-public financial information, or anything they are not authorized to share.

06

AI and service providers

Vauntless Career Studio may send submitted career materials to AI providers such as Anthropic to generate draft bios, resumes, summaries, and related content when needed to provide requested services.

Only information reasonably necessary for the requested service should be sent to providers. Provider usage should be reviewed as the service matures and as customer expectations become more specific.

07

Monitoring and abuse prevention

Vauntless Career Studio may use logs, rate limits, provider security tools, fraud checks, audit records, and technical monitoring to protect the platform, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service reliability.

Suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, payment abuse, spam, malware, or misuse of hosted client sites may result in suspension or removal.

08

Incident response

If Vauntless Career Studio becomes aware of a security incident affecting personal information, it will investigate, work with relevant providers, take reasonable containment steps, and provide notices when required by law or appropriate under the circumstances.

Security incidents can be reported to VCS@1fishergroup.com.

09

No guarantee

No online service can guarantee perfect security. Vauntless Career Studio uses reasonable safeguards, but users should also protect their own accounts, use strong passwords, avoid sharing private credentials, and submit only information appropriate for the service.
